No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’ Why do you think Jesus said, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone." <strong>One answer I found was:</strong> Notice that He does NOT say "don't call me good" or "don't say that". Jesus is merely making a point. He is basically saying that by calling Him "good" they are acknowledging that He is God without realizing it. Luke 18:17-19

Why do you think Jesus said, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.”

One answer I found was: Notice that He does NOT say “don’t call me good” or “don’t say that”. Jesus is merely making a point. He is basically saying that by calling Him “good” they are acknowledging that He is God without realizing it.
